Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Knytly. By using the Service you agree to be bound by them. We've kept the language as plain as the legal context allows.
1. Agreement
By accessing or using Knytly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
2. Description of the service
Knytly provides a hosted dashboard and Discord bot offering moderation, ticketing, levels, giveaways, logging, welcome flows, reaction roles, embed building, custom commands, and backup features. Features may evolve over time.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You must also comply with the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using the Service.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
You will not use the Service to violate any law, infringe intellectual property, harass others, distribute malware, evade rate limits, attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, or use the Service to operate a competing product. We may take action — up to immediate termination — against accounts engaging in abuse.
6. Subscription, billing, and refunds
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in EUR. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel anytime; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on Pro and Pro+ for new customers. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of all content (configurations, embeds, transcripts, etc.) you create or upload via the Service. You grant Knytly a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, and display this content solely as required to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.
8. Intellectual property
The Knytly name, logo, dashboard, source code, and brand assets are owned by Knytly. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use them outside the Service.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Where we discontinue a paid feature, we will offer a pro-rated refund for the unused portion.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Knytly's total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Knytly in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100). Knytly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Knytly harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
13. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these terms, fraud, or abuse. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Berlin, Germany, except where mandatory consumer protection law applies.
15. Changes
We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard and by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
